What do you need? And how much does it take to hold a book? SCHLAGSEITE substantially rethinks the type of a bookcase. The result is a physically and optically reduced object, using the least amount of material. Time to need less: an airy grid with a well-defined distance from the wall behind it, tilted by an angle of 3°; in this way, books do not fall. SCHLAGSEITE invites you to interact: with the tip of a finger you can choose a book. Empty, it produces a sculptural shadow on the wall, when fully loaded it retracts and leaves the scenery to the books.

Breuer Bono is an Austrian furniture brand founded by designer Martin Breuer Bono. All pieces are designed by the designer and crafted in small batches by local artisans using carefully selected materials. Martin Breuer Bono obtained a Master's degree from the Technische Universität Wien and a Master's degree from the Royal College of Art in London. His work focuses on projects that always aim for the pursuit of the essential, incorporating a minimalist approach. His designs have won prestigious international design awards, and his work has been exhibited in traveling exhibitions in numerous countries. Martin Breuer Bono lives and works in Graz, Austria.
