An almost impenetrable intense red color with purple hues. On the nose a mixture of black and red berry fruits, combined with notes of thyme and spices, sensations similar to cherry jam; a slight expression of licorice emerges. On the palate it enters with a hint of sweetness and then leaves room for a lively and exciting tannin. Long and interesting persistence.

After more than twenty years of research, started with the creation of the first edition of “The Square of the Circle” in 1995, Roberto Cipresso has come to the identification of a widespread terroir: a set of small parcels, of extraordinary vineyards, soils and climates rich in complexity that wind along an imaginary thread placed on the belt of the 43rd North Parallel. The 43rd Parallel is magical, it's mystical, it's historical and it's modern, it's marine and it's continental, it's hot and it's cold. It passes through the places that gave rise to the vine - Georgia -, crosses points full of energy, such as Medjugorje or Santiago de Compostela, and finally reaches Oregon, the new frontier American. But it is in its passage over Italy that the 43rd Parallel flies over what for us are the most suitable and expressive areas for the cultivation of vines: Tuscany, Umbria and Brands. On the 43rd century native vines of great depth grow: Verdicchio, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Vermentino and Sagrantino, and there are terroirs of great character, ranging from the most south of Chianti and from Montalcino, up to the green and rounder profiles of the Marche soil, passing through the Crete Senesi. The view of two different seas makes the complexity of the grapes that come from these soils even richer.
