Aflavored wine of ancient tradition, Vermouth owes its name to a French adaptation of the German term “Wermut” which indicates its main flavouring ingredient or Artemisia Absinthium. Invented by Hippocrates, who used to infuse his fermented must with wormwood, dictamus flowers, spices and honey, the use of flavouring wine continued throughout the Middle Ages and even more when spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg began to arrive from the East. But it was in 1786 that in Turin, by Antonio Benedetto Carpano, the definitive recipe that involved a blend of wines mixed with an infusion of fifty different herbs and roots took shape. The Vermouth Rosso Bottega, signed by Sandro Bottega and Lamberto Vallarino Gancia, contains in itself this long history and represents its modern evolution. It is characterized by the complex bouquet that can satisfy even the most demanding palates. The elegant and refined packaging is also a hallmark of this product.

Package: 1 bottle of 70 cl
Characteristics: Vermouth Rosso Bottega originates from a selection of Merlot, among the most representative wines of a particularly popular territory. From the combination of a wine of great personality with an extract of multiple sensory nuances, comes to life a product with a unique character and full, rich and definitive taste, synthesis of creativity, innovation and wine tradition that unite Veneto to Piedmont.
