Before use: Enjoy the moment of unboxing your new purchase! And be sure to remove all labels and packaging.

Wash your Le Creuset product in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry it thoroughly.

Protect yourself by always using pot holders when handling hot utensils.

We recommend using only Le Creuset silicone utensils or those made of wood or heat-resistant plastic. DO NOT use knives or metal utensils to avoid marks and scratches on the product's enameled surface.

Use the product on the burner that is the most appropriate size: it will make cooking food more even and reduce the risk of damage to handles and sides. This is particularly important for induction cooktops: using the wrong sized burner may cause the cooktop not to "recognize" the product.

Cooking over medium or low heat produces the best results. Gradually heat the pan to achieve extraordinary flavors and even cooking. If high heat is necessary, lower the intensity once the desired level of heat is reached.

Do not slide the product on a glass cooktop as it may damage the base of the product and the glass. Always lift the product to place it, move it, or remove it from the surface.

Wait for the product to cool completely before you start cleaning it.

Remove any residue from the base and edges of the product. For stubborn food residues, fill the product with warm soapy water and soak for 15-20 minutes before washing as usual.

Do not use harsh detergents, abrasive sponges and/or metal or very hard and rigid brushes for cleaning surfaces.

After washing, dry the product thoroughly and store it in a dry place.

Saucepans: Saucepans with cast iron and phenolic handles are dishwasher safe. However, constant use of the dishwasher may lead to clouding of the enameled finish.
