Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Badia a Passignano – Antinori is born in the heart of Tuscany, in one of the most prestigious historic estates of the Antinori family. Located in Barberino Tavarnelle, Badia a Passignano is an ancient monastery that today hosts one of the most renowned productions of Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, the highest qualitative expression of the denomination. This wine perfectly reflects the territory, characterized by soils rich in galestro and alberese, and by an ideal climate that favors the optimal ripening of Sangiovese grapes. The vinification follows modern techniques complemented by a deep attention to tradition, with a careful selection of the best grapes and a long aging in French oak barrels. The result is an elegant, complex, and long-lived wine that best represents the identity of Chianti Classico.
