The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar DOP Aged for 12 years is born from the careful selection of grape musts of native vines, whose juice is cooked slowly over direct heat. The magic happens inside the fascinating batteries of barrels, where the vinegar matures, borrowing its secret aromas from the woods of different essences. Over the course of 12 years, the must transforms, developing unique aromas, colors and flavors.
Traditional Aged 12 years has a dense and syrupy consistency. The color is a deep and lustrous brown tone; the enveloping and persistent scent captures notes of ripe fruit, wood and a subtle hint of caramel. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance between sweet and acid, with fruity notes that delicately blend with a slightly bitter flavour.
Traditional Aged 12 years is an indispensable companion in the kitchen. Add a few drops to roast meats, mature cheeses, fresh fruit or even ice cream for a touch of refinement and uniqueness.
