Villa Fura's Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva 2015 was produced from 60% Corvina, 25% Corvinone and 15% Rondinella grapes from pergola-trained vineyards with Guyot pruning. After the harvest, carried out in the second half of September, the bunches were carefully placed in boxes for drying for 3-4 months which had the aim of increasing the sugar content of the berries. Subsequently, the grapes were destemmed and softly pressed to obtain the must. The alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature for a period of 30 days. Before bottling, the wine was aged for 48 months in large barrels.

The Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva 2015 by Villa Fura stands out at the sight of an intense garnet red color. On the nose it releases aromas of red fruit jam followed by notes of dried violet, rhubarb and wet earth. The olfactory picture is complemented by balsamic notes of rhubarb and notes of cinnamon, cloves and dark spices. The sip is large, enveloping and material, enhanced by an important tannic texture and a long and exciting ethereal and spicy finish. Ideal as a meditation wine, at the table it pairs very well with mature and blue cheeses as well as opulent land dishes based on red meat or game.
