For centuries a symbol of Tuscany wine in the world, the Antinori family offers with its Villa Antinori Rosso a unique blend in which Sangiovese is enriched, in small quantities, with the presence of international vines, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The grapes are harvested manually between the end of September and the beginning of October and then subjected to fermentation with light maceration on the skins. The refinement takes place in oak barriques and in the bottle.
VILLA ANTINORI ROSSO: TASTING
The Villa Antinori Rosso by Antinori seduces the eye with its intense ruby red color. On the nose it is a triumph of enveloping aromas reminiscent of ripe red fruit and dark spices. When tasted, it is soft and rounded, with a velvety tannic texture that increases its pleasantness. Savory and persistent finish. Ideal in combination with game or red meat dishes.

The Antinori Family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years: from when, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, through 26 generations, the family has always managed this business directly with innovative and sometimes courageous choices but always maintaining respect for traditions and for the territory. Tradition, passion and intuition were the driving qualities that led the Antinori Marquises to establish themselves as one of the main Italian producers of high quality wines.
