The Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC Ripassa by Zenato is a wine that celebrates the Venetian tradition of "ripasso". Made with a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta, it is obtained by passing the base Valpolicella over the pomace of Amarone. This process enriches the wine with body, complexity, and structure. The vineyards are located in the classic Valpolicella, characterized by limestone soils and a temperate climate. Aging in oak barrels for 18 months and an additional 6 months in the bottle ensures a balance between power and finesse. Ripassa is a wine that expresses the tradition and elegance of the territory, perfect for pairing with meat dishes, roasts, and aged cheeses.

In appearance, it presents an intense ruby red color. The nose features aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and notes of sweet spices, accompanied by touches of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, it is rich and velvety, with soft tannins and a pleasant acidity that balances the structure. The finish is long and persistent, with returns of red fruit and spicy nuances.
