The Sauvignon of Borgo Tulias was obtained from 100% Sauvignon grapes coming from vineyards exposed to North-South and trained using the Guyot system on clayey-limestone soils, rich in skeleton and organic substance. The production area is that of Pasiano di Pordenone (PN) in the Grave del Friuli area, large pebbles coming from the flooding of the Tagliamento river over the centuries. After the harvest carried out in September, the bunches were transported to the cellar for white vinification. The refinement lasted a few months in stainless steel.
SAUVIGNON FRIULI BORGO TULIAS: TASTING
The Sauvignon of Borgo Tulias presents itself to the eye with an intense straw yellow color. On the nose it releases aromas of exotic yellow fruit, white flowers, sage and tomato leaf. The taste is pleasantly fresh and mineral, with great taste-olfactory coherence. At the table it is perfect with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as with tasty seafood recipes such as grilled prawns on courgette cream.
