Ruby red in color, it has strong notes of ripe fruit followed by elegant tertiaries, espresso, tobacco, licorice and dark chocolate. Well balanced and of long persistence. Vinified in the Cà Marcanda Estate in Gaja, it ages for 18 months in barrique.
