A mixture of 26 aromatic plants including first of all absinthe (which translates to “vermouth” in German), marjoram leaves, root gentian, sweet and bitter orange peel and many others, which make up our “historic” recipe, it is left to macerate for about 40 days in an infusion of alcohol and very little Pio Cesare white wine.
To the aromatic extract obtained, we add the right amount of our Chardonnay and a few drops of Muscat, a little sugar and alcohol and refine it in small stainless steel containers for about 4 months.
A small addition of burnt sugar completes the recipe, giving our Vermouth its amber color, its characteristic taste and aroma.
We recommend consuming our Vermouth in the old “Piedmontese way”, sipping it with a small lemon peel.
