Calvados aged for a minimum of 6 years in toasted oak barrels, with a golden yellow color and copper nuances. Fresh and elegant bouquet, intense, fruity, and floral (geranium). Smooth and balanced taste, with good persistence. An excellent compromise between the freshness of the fruitiness and the concentration of the distillate.
Packaging: 1 bottle of 70 cl
Variety of apples: the apples come from a small area of Normandy called Pays d'Auge. Two types of apples are used: 80% sweet apples and 20% apples with high acidity. All apples are picked by hand.
Cider production: the apples are mixed together, crushed, and pressed. The resulting apple juice is fully fermented, which gives the cider that is then distilled.
Distillation: a double distillation is carried out: the first distillation of the cider produces the "petite eau". The second distillation of the "petite eau" creates the Calvados. The first distillation is carried out 3 months after the end of the fermentation of the cider and the second finishes 1 year after the first.
Aging: for a minimum of 6 years in toasted oak barrels of 400 l, of which 25% are new, from the Loire Valley and with light toasting.
Alcohol content: 42% Vol.
