The ADM design resin sculptures are the result of research aimed at creating objects that tastefully decorate contemporary and trendy environments with color and imagination. Most of these are made of resin, a material that is now widely used for the production of furniture products. The process of creating a resin sculpture is entirely artisanal. The ideas of our designers are put on paper through sketches, following which skilled sculptors handcraft a model in clay, also known as the "core," which is used to construct rubber molds. The resin is mixed with a hardening liquid and manually poured into the molds. Once the resin has hardened, the molds are opened to extract the raw sculptures, which must be cleaned of any burrs or processing residues, repaired, sanded, and manually washed before they can be decorated. When the surface of the piece is perfect, a thick spray paint called "primer" is applied, serving as a base for the final decoration, which will vary depending on whether a matte, glossy, metallic, or other effect is desired. In cases where the sculpture cannot stand on its own, it is mounted on a marble base to ensure stability. You can now understand how much manual work is required to create these pieces before they are ready to adorn your home, and how different their artisanal value is compared to plastic objects produced in large quantities by automatic machines.
