The Brunello di Montalcino Montosoli di Altesino comes from grapes grown in a very prestigious cru of Montalcino: Montosoli precisely. Wine Spectator defined it as the second most representative vineyard of the denomination: one of the maximum expressions of Brunello. The cru is located at an altitude of 400m, with perfect exposure and microclimate.
BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO MONTOSOLI ALTESINO: TASTING
Brunello Montosoli appears ruby red tending towards garnet. On the nose it is a riot of complex aromatic intensity: red fruits, blackberry and raspberry give way to evolved notes of liquorice, cocoa and pepper. In the mouth, the robust body is velvety and the vigorous tannins reveal a longevity yet to be discovered. Long and extremely satisfying finish.
