The Scabrezza della Tenuta Monteloro - Antinori is a white wine produced from 100% Pinot Grigio grown in the Pontassieve estate (FI) on calcareous-clay soils, at 500 meters above sea level. During the winemaking process, the must underwent a brief pre-fermentation maceration that gave the wine its characteristic coppery color. The alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature not exceeding 16°C. The aging occurred for several months in stainless steel tanks.
SCABREZZA PINOT GRIGIO MONTELORO ANTINORI: THE TASTING
The Scabrezza Pinot Grigio from Tenuta Monteloro Antinori presents a seductive coppery color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of pineapple, linden flowers, and orange blossom, along with notes of Mediterranean citrus. The palate is fresh and balanced, supported by a pleasant minerality that lingers in the finish. At the table, it pairs perfectly with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as with delicious seafood recipes. It is recommended to try with amberjack tartare and citrus.

The Antinori Family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years: from when, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, through 26 generations, the family has always managed this business directly with innovative and sometimes courageous choices but always maintaining respect for traditions and for the territory. Tradition, passion and intuition were the driving qualities that led the Antinori Marquises to establish themselves as one of the main Italian producers of high quality wines.
