Banfi's Col di Sasso Rosso is obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes vinified in red. In the production phase, the alcoholic fermentation took place in steel at a controlled temperature with maceration of the must on the skins for a few days. The malolactic fermentation, which sweetened the aromatic and structural edges of the wine, took place in barriques. The refinement itself took a few months in barrique.

Banfi's Col Di Sasso Rosso has a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose it releases aromas of small red berries which combine with herbaceous hints and light notes of dark spices. The taste is pleasantly fruity and characterized by soft tannins that invite a second sip. Excellent as a wine throughout the meal, at the table it goes well with delicious land dishes such as fusilli with sausage sauce.
