The Aglianico del Vulture Teodosio by Basilisco is produced from 100% Aglianico grapes sourced from the Barile area, in the province of Potenza. The reference vineyards, facing Southeast, are located on calcareous, tuffaceous, and clayey soils, at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. During red winemaking, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel with a 20-day maceration of the must in contact with the skins. The aging occurred for 12 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux of 2nd and 3rd passage and for an additional 12 months in the bottle.

The Aglianico del Vulture Teodosio by Basilisco presents a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe berries combined with hints of balsamic herbs and notes of licorice and dark spices. The taste is rich and intense, supported by smooth tannins and a pleasant fruity and spicy finish. Best enjoyed with a succulent dish of tripe and beans.
