The Soave Classico Rétro Bolla is a Soave made from Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. The label under which it is marketed is the historical one from the 1950s (the winery dates back to the late 1800s in Soave). The grapes come from the area of the denomination, characterized by volcanic soils; over time, the plants have been selected and propagated with the aim of obtaining healthy, loose, and light bunches. Vinification takes place according to traditional methods: fermentation and aging in steel.
SOAVE CLASSICO RÉTRO BOLLA: TASTING
The Soave Classico Rétro Bolla appears in the glass with a beautiful intense straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it presents fragrant aromas of flowers, especially acacia and elderflower, exotic fruit, with notes of papaya, and honey. On the palate, it is balanced, with echoes of fruity tones, good freshness, and pleasant sapidity. A perfect everyday wine, it pairs happily with vegetarian dishes, such as an omelet with Tropea onions, thyme, and white Scamorza, as well as delicate fish dishes, from shrimp tartare to warm seafood salad.
