The Verdicchio di Matelica Terravignata di Borgo Paglianetto takes its name from a distant era in which, in the properties of rich Roman landowners in Matelica, the presence of "vineyard lands", dedicated to the cultivation of vines, was attested. The grapes come from a vineyard facing west, on clay-limestone soil, and are harvested at a moderate degree of ripeness to accentuate a youthful and vertical character. The harvest takes place starting from mid-September; the grapes are processed in steel vats and the wine ages in steel for 4 months before bottling, followed by a further two months before marketing.

The Verdicchio di Matelica Terravignata from Borgo Paglianetto enters the glass with a beautiful bright straw color. On the nose it is fresh and spring-like with notes of broom and jasmine, beeswax, white peach, sage and mineral hints. In the mouth it is vertical, with nice acidity, a certain flavor and good persistence. Very good with Milanese asparagus.
