The Bolgheri Ruit Hora di Caccia al Piano is primarily made from hand-picked and selected Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, placed in 12 kg boxes, with separate harvesting for variety and parcel. A careful selection of the grapes preceded destemming, followed by maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and subsequently aging for 18 months in barrique.
