The Pinot Grigio from Cantina Bolzano is produced with grapes grown on sunny, alluvial, and gravelly soils in Bolzano and on the Renon plateau. Bolzano is located in a particularly suitable area for viticulture: at the center of a large sun-drenched basin surrounded by steep slopes. Care and attention to the soils and vines are of primary importance for the winemakers of Kellerei Bozen - Cantina Bolzano, who use a sustainable and nature-respecting approach every day. The harvest takes place from early September; the grapes undergo soft pressing, the must ferments in steel tanks at controlled temperature, and the wine is then aged in steel to preserve its vigor and freshness.
PINOT GRIGIO CANTINA BOLZANO: TASTING NOTES
The Pinot Grigio from Cantina Bolzano presents itself with an intense straw-yellow color and golden reflections. On the nose, it is youthful, with fermentative notes of apple and pear, enriched by hints of honey, nuts, and white flowers, all on a mineral aromatic background. The sip is quite fresh and savory, balanced, and very inviting to drink. Excellent with cuttlefish in zimino.
