Casa Sant'Orsola's Prosecco Rosé Extra Dry Millesimato is one of the latest innovations in the company's wide range, always in step with the times. The Prosecco Rosé denomination is in fact very recent: after long and fiery controversies, the proposal of the Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco DOC was accepted, to officially include the Rosé type in the specifications, in which Glera grapes must be present in a minimum quantity of 85%. and the remaining part is made up of Pinot Noir. The further accusation of the choice of an international grape instead of, for example, the native Raboso, was rejected by certifying that Pinot Noir has actually been present on the territory since the mid-19th century. This bubble is vinified with cutting-edge oenological technology and made into sparkling wine using the Martinotti method.
PROSECCO ROSÉ EXTRA DRY VINTAGE SANT'ORSOLA: THE TASTING
Casa Sant'Orsola's Prosecco Rosé Extra Dry Millesimato is light salmon pink illuminated by fine perlage. On the nose it is pleasant with notes of raspberry syrup, wild strawberry, wisteria, Pink Lady apple and mint. In the mouth it is soft, with a good balance between freshness and residual sugar. Excellent aperitif with marinated anchovies, brown bread, butter and caramelized red onions.
