Cascina Botal's Nebbiolo d'Alba was obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. This incredible vine, from which prestigious Piedmontese reds are born, such as Barbaresco and Barolo, seems to have been so called due to its late maturation - October/November: the harvest in fact takes place with the typical autumn mists. After the traditional red vinification - i.e. including maceration of the must on the skins - Cascina Botal's Nebbiolo d'Alba was refined for a few months in oak barrels.

Cascina Botal's Nebbiolo d'Alba stands out at the sight of a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it expresses aromas of small red fruits, violets and aromatic herbs which are accompanied by hints of wet earth and dark spices. The taste is soft and balanced, supported by smooth tannins and a good flavor that persists in the finish. At the table it can be fully enjoyed with mature cheeses as well as with tasty land dishes based on red meat or game.
