Cascina Roccalini's Nebbiolo was obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the property's vineyards located south-west of Barbaresco (CN). The red winemaking process included a phase of alcoholic fermentation activated thanks to indigenous yeasts, accompanied by a maceration of the must on the skins with a submerged cap lasting 60 days. The expected refinement was 8 months in concrete tanks. No clarification or filtration operations were carried out.

Cascina Roccalini's Nebbiolo presents itself to the eye with a ruby red color with brilliant reflections. On the nose it begins with aromas of ripe red fruits followed by floral hints of violet and notes of aromatic herbs and dark spices. The sip is deep and structured, enhanced by silky tannins and a long, warm balsamic and spicy finish. At the table it pairs well with mature cheeses as well as rich earthy dishes based on red meat or game.
