The Chianti Classico signed by Castello di Volpaia is one of the most faithful and fascinating expressions of the historic Tuscan denomination. Born in the heart of Chianti, in Radda in Chianti, this wine comes from vineyards located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. Castello di Volpaia is a perfectly preserved medieval village, transformed into a virtuous model of sustainable viticulture, where each wine is the result of an ethical and qualitative vision that places the territory at its center. The Chianti Classico 2022 is primarily produced from Sangiovese grapes, with a small percentage of Merlot added. Fermentation in steel and aging in oak barrels enhance the varietal purity and the wine's elegant character. It is a versatile and gastronomic red, perfect for pairing with traditional Tuscan dishes, such as pappardelle with wild boar, roasts, aged cheeses, or peasant soups.
