The Brunello di Montalcino by Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona is produced from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown in the southeast of Montalcino, in the province of Siena. The company's reference vineyards are rooted in medium-textured soils characterized by galestro, at an altitude ranging from 240 to 360 meters above sea level. The winemaking process took place in stainless steel and in vitrified concrete tanks at controlled temperatures. The aging lasted for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels of 20 and 75 hectoliters and over 8 months in bottle.

The Brunello di Montalcino by Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona presents itself to the eye with a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe red fruits that combine with hints of rose and violet potpourri and notes of black pepper and dark spices. The olfactory profile is intriguing with balsamic and underbrush hints. The taste is elegant and profound, refined by silky tannins and a long fruity and spicy finish. At the table, it pairs excellently with aged cheeses as well as first and second courses based on red meats or game.
