The Nero d'Avola Principe di Granatey is a selection from the Colomba Bianca wineries. First produced in 2012, this Nero d'Avola comes from vineyards located between 150 and 350 meters above sea level, harvested in the second decade of September. The perfectly ripe grapes are gently pressed and fermented with the skins for 2 weeks at a controlled temperature (temperature control ensures that fermentation develops slowly and steadily, preventing any fermentation blocks, which could result in the death of the wine yeasts and possibly trigger fermentations by other unsuitable fungi or bacteria). Subsequently, the wine matures and ages in steel tanks until the bottling moment.

The Nero d'Avola Principe di Granatey from Colomba Bianca presents a full and bright ruby red color; on the nose, it is pleasantly fruity with hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it is aromatically in line with the nose, with a full body and gentle tannins. It pairs well with marinated and spiced grilled meats.
