Grechetto di Còlpetrone is produced in Gualdo Cattaneo, in the province of Perugia. The grapes, Grechetto and Chardonnay, are harvested by hand and delicately pressed; the must obtained, after an initial phase of cold static decantation, is sent to ferment at a temperature between 12° and 15° C. The wine then refines in contact with its own fine lees for a period of approximately 3 months, bringing deposits are frequently suspended to favor the exchange of aromatic components.GRECHETTO CÒLPETRONE: TASTINGGrechetto di Còlpetrone presents an intense straw yellow color in the glass. The olfactory profile is characterized by broom, acacia flowers, dandelion, medicinal herbs, medlars, lemon jam and a very pleasant iodine touch. On the sip it has a marked flavor, good citrus freshness and precise aromatic correspondence. This Grechetto lends itself, by playing with the temperature, to accompanying, cooler, seafood first courses, such as tonnarelli, prawns and courgettes, and, at a higher temperature, poultry cooked in the traditional way, for example chicken with olives .
