Colterenzio's Chardonnay Altkirch is part of that line of "classic" wines that this cooperative winery produces from pure traditional varieties. The barrier of the Alps, 18,000 hours of sunshine a year, the winds of Lake Garda, the heat of the daytime hours and the coolness of the nighttime hours create the ideal conditions for the development of this and other aromatic and semi-aromatic vines. The vineyards rest on sandy and deep soils, with gravel deposits. The fermentation of the must takes place at a controlled temperature (18°) mostly in steel, and to a small extent in large wooden barrels. The refinement continues for a few months on the fine lees.
CHARDONNAY ALTKIRCH COLTERENZIO: THE TASTING
Colterenzio's Chardonnay Altkirch enters the glass with a youthful straw yellow with greenish reflections; on the nose it is captivating with notes of pineapple and mango. In the mouth it is fresh, fine and balanced. Perfect with fragrant summer vegetable omelettes, or with amberjack tartare with exotic fruit and goat cheese foam.
