The youngest vineyards in Clos Cypres were planted in 2000, the oldest in 1934. The name is a tribute to the old Bellmunt cypresses.
The 'wisdom' of the old vineyards reaches the purest expression in this wine, which enhances the mineral and vegetable character of southern Priorat.
The palate is ripe and fresh at the same time. It has its own natural elegance that reminds the landscape in which it was born, where the centuries have harmonized everything perfectly.
Package: 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Grape varieties: 100% Samsò (Carignan or Mazuelo).
Vinification: takes place in 500-liter barrels, where spontaneous malolactic fermentation also takes place.
Aging: 12 months in the same barrels.

Costers del Priorat cultivates vineyards in three different locations ;: Sant Martì, Mas Alsera and Les Solanes, which are located in the villages of Bellmunt del Priorat, Torroja del Priorat and El Molar respectively. In the Finca Sant Martì, the vineyards are cultivated at a considerable slope and range from 300 to 375 meters above sea level. Mas Alsera is surrounded by olive and almond trees, and an impressive amphitheater of vineyards and holm oaks, protected by cold northern winds from the nearby Montsant mountain, The vineyards are located at an altitude of between 240 and 350 meters above sea level. The oldest plants date back to 1939. Les Solanes is located at the southern edge of the DOQ Priorat. The terraced vineyards are the ones most exposed to the sun in an ideal context to produce high quality grapes. The vineyards are between 10 and 60 years old.
