Cusumano's Syrah was obtained from 100% Syrah grapes. The vineyards of origin are located in the Presti and Pagne estates, on the hills of Monreale (PA), rooted in clayey soils, at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. During winemaking, a 2-day cold pre-fermentation maceration at 5°C was carried out to favor the extraction of the primary aromas of the fruit. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation carried out in stainless steel. The refinement was in stainless steel in contact with the fine lees.
SYRAH TERRE SICIIANE CUSUMANO: TASTING
Cusumano's Syrah Terre Siciliane presents an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose it expresses aromas of ripe berries, red flowers and aromatic herbs combined with light spicy hints. The sip is soft and full-bodied, supported by balanced tannins and a pleasant fruity finish. At the table it goes well with cheeses and rich land dishes, especially if based on red meat.
