The Chardonnay Jalè by Cusumano is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown at an altitude between 700 and 800 meters above sea level in the Piana degli Albesi (PA) area. The vineyards are located on clay-loam soils with a southern exposure. The harvest was done manually with a yield that did not exceed 60 quintals per hectare. The fermentation and aging (lasting 6 months) took place in 225-liter oak barrels. Before being marketed, the wine rested for a few months in the bottle.

The Chardonnay Jalè by Cusumano presents a seductive straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of tropical yellow-fleshed fruit and citrus, combined with penetrating smoky and mineral notes. Warm and full-bodied, on the palate it reveals freshness and pleasant sapidity, leaving room for the fruit that lingers in the long finish. At the table, it pairs well with fresh cheeses and tasty seafood recipes based on fish and shellfish.
