Cantine dell'Angelo's Greco di Tufo Torrefavale comes from the one hectare vineyard in Torre Favale. This plot was previously divided between various owners and traditionally trained in the Avellino radial pattern, Angelo Muto has preserved this system where possible, the plants are quite old. In Torre Favale, the original ventilation building for the underground tunnels of the mine which was active from 1866 until the second half of the twentieth century is still visible; the soil here is veined with sulfur but does not have the same great concentration of it as the Miniere vineyard, the other company plot that rises exactly above the old excavation areas. Torrefavale is vinified completely in steel, where it then ages for 12 months.

Cantine dell'Angelo's Greco di Tufo Torrefavale is very bright golden. As Angelo Muto himself says, Greco has 3 constitutive characteristics: acidity, tannin and color (after which he adds a fourth characteristic for his wines, the hint of sulphur). The nose is centered on yellow fruit accompanied by fresh hints of myrtle and wild oregano; traces of sulfur can be perceived in the background. The mouth is sharp, with powerful citrus acidity, flavor and beautiful length. Delicious with acorn flour bread, salted butter, seared asparagus and wild salmon.
