Since 1657, six generations of vignerons have succeeded each other in Petit family. The Maison, based in Pupillin, was created by Désiré Petit in 1932 who planted his first Ploussard vineyards in the Côte de Feule that year. Today, Anne-Laure and Damien (Marcel's son) cultivate almost 27 hectares of vineyards with an average age of 25 years on three different geographical denominations. They work according to the methods of reasoned agriculture, based on soil processing, the grassing of some vineyards and the reduction of treatments. In 2019 they requested, after a 10-year journey, certification in organic farming, advancing more and more towards that philosophy of listening and preserving nature to have grapes free from chemicals, to allow fermentation with natural yeasts, to reduce sulfur doses in the cellar. With passion and combining modernity and tradition, they elaborate wines that are expressive of their terroir.
