After the long vinification it becomes a rich wine, with floral effluves and quince, pineapple and sweet almonds. In the mouth it gives an impression of opulence, with a fresh and exotic finish.

varieties: Alesse (from Altesse grapes, called in Savoia Roussette Blanc)
Vinification: this wine is produced with slow pressing of the whole grapes, fermentation at low temperature, malolactic fermentation and aging on yeasts until bottling.
Pairings: fish but also pastry and desserts. In Savoy it is drunk as an aperitif.
Aging: 5 to 10 years.

Savoy, with its average altitude of 1,500 meters, is identified as high mountain department, where the land suitable for cultivation is rare and rugged. The climate is harsh but the combination of the presence of large valleys, accidental landslides and a Awful exposure create a privileged and almost unique environment for the vine. Domaine Giachino is located in the historic region of Savoy, within the “Parc naturel Régional de Chartreuse”. Domaine Giachino's wines are produced with methods organic, with deep respect for nature, according to the rules of conduct laid down by the “AB” (Certifié Agricolture Biologique) and “Nature et Progrès” brands. Herbicides, synthetic chemicals, and pesticides are banned. Thanks to this return to the origins of agriculture, the essential result of constantly improving the authenticity of wines is pursued.
