The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Floramundi by Donnafugata was obtained from Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes grown in the territory of Acate in the province of Ragusa. The original vineyards insist on sandy soils, interspersed with substrata of calcareous tuff and clay, at an altitude between 120 and 150 meters above sea level. The alcoholic fermentation took place in steel for a period of 10 days, at a temperature between 25°C and 28°C. After malolactic fermentation - useful for "smoothing" the body and aromatic profile of the wine, Donnafugata's Floramundi was aged in steel for 8 months and then in the bottle for a further 12 months.

The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Floramundi by Donnafugata announces itself in the glass with a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose it expresses intense aromas of plum and small red fruits which combine with floral scents and delicate notes of black pepper. The sip is full and harmonious, enhanced by a smooth tannic texture and a lively fresh-savory trail that increases the pleasantness of the drink. At the table it goes well with various types of cured meats and with stewed red meat and white meat dishes. Bold but successful pairing with succulent second courses of grilled or baked fish.
