3 mixed bottles of 0.75 lt from the Donne Fittipaldi winery (with wooden box): 2 Bolgheri DOC and 1 Bolgheri DOC Superiore, to taste both the basic version and the superior version of the famous Bolgheri.
BOLGHERI DOCGrapes: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot.Vinification: the hand-harvested grapes are gently destemmed and then fermented using only the naturally occurring yeasts on the grapes, with about 15 days of skin contact.Color: intense ruby red.Aroma: the nose is very fruity with notes of cherry, currant, and underlying spicy hints.Taste: wine of great freshness and harmony, it is a classic elegant red with a gustatory spectrum where sweet and silky tannins accompany a finish of great gustatory pleasure.Alcohol content: 14%Serving temperature: 15-16°CPairings: excellent with red meats and cheeses, it can also accompany some fish dishes typical of the local cuisine.BOLGHERI DOC SUPERIOREGrapes: 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot.Vinification: the hand-harvested grapes are gently destemmed and then fermented using only the naturally occurring yeasts on the grapes, with about 20 days of skin contact.Color: intense ruby redAroma: on the nose it is fruity, intense, sweet with typical notes of ripe cabernet that give the wine a strong identity and personality typical of great Bolgheri red wines.Taste: Donne Fittipaldi Superior is a wine of great complexity and structure.
