Acclamato vincitore del 12. concorso italiano del Pinot Nero nel 2013, il "Ludwig" colpisce per la sua profondità ed eleganza. Note speziate di cannella e chiodi di garofano, profumi di frutti di bosco rendono l´elegante bouquet molto complesso e sfaccettato ma allo stesso tempo morbido ed invitante. Al palato il Ludwig sprigiona tutta la sua forza ed eleganza, i suoi tannini gentili, il sentore di spezie dolci e l'equilibrata mineralitá che gli conferiscono freshzza e lunga persistenza.
Packaging: 6 bottles of 0.75 lt Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir Production area: Glen above the mountain village, Mountain itself, between 550 - 600 m above sea level, vineyard facing south-west with sandy soil and clayey parts. In addition, a third of this Pinot Noir comes from a hilly terrain with a steep slope to the east at the edge of the forest at 450 meters above sea level from Barleit, in the municipality of Caldaro. Land with deposits of morainic, sandy, pebbly origin with a skeleton of mixed origin (granite, marble, porphyry). Vinification: Fermentation in steel and partly in wood with 10 days maceration on the pomace and subsequent malolactic fermentation in cask. Aged in French oak barrels for a period of 17 months. Alcohol content: 13% Vol. Aging: 4-8 years
