Il Cabernet "Istrice" si presenta in una veste rosso granato brillante, con intriganti profumi speziati che ricordano il caffe´, leggeri aromi tostati, alleggeriti dai freschi sapori di frutti di bosco e more. Al palato il vino picklesnea la sua forte personalitá, dove la struttura decisa, i tannini velluttati e la fruttata e speziata corposita' si sposano in un lunghissimo e sapido finale.
Packaging: 6 bottles of 0.75 lt Grape variety: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc Production area: Vineyard in the hills overlooking Lake Caldaro, municipality of Caldaro, Castel Ringberg farm, at 400 m a.s.l., soil with calcareous sediments and clayey parts. Vineyard facing southeast. Vines of 25 years of age. Vinification: Fermentation in steel tanks with 10 days maceration on the pomace and subsequent malolactic fermentation in cask. Aged for 12 months in French wooden barrels. The bottling is followed by a long aging in the bottle. Alcohol content: 13% Vol. Aging: 5-8 years
