Elena Walch's Merlot is a red wine made from 100% Merlot grapes grown in calcareous soils with sandy and clayey formations, at an altitude of 200 to 400 meters above sea level. During the red winemaking process, the alcoholic fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with a 10-day maceration of the must on the skins. The aging lasted for several months in large oak barrels.

Elena Walch's Merlot presents itself in the glass with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it showcases aromas of ripe red fruits, rose, and violet combined with hints of cocoa powder and dark spices. The tasting experience is soft and round, supported by smooth tannins and a pronounced fruity flavor that lingers in the finish. At the table, it pairs wonderfully with cold cuts and cheeses as well as delicious meat dishes, especially those based on tomatoes and red meats.
