The Toscana Rosso IGT Cabraia from the Gualdo del Re estate is a wine that originates in the heart of Val di Cornia, in Maremma, from a careful selection of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This blend, classic yet rich in personality, reflects the strong and at the same time elegant character of the area, where the mild climate and mineral-rich soils contribute to creating intense, structured, and long-lived wines. The name “Cabraia” is inspired by an ancient hilltop location, evoking a deep connection with the land and tradition. Aged in barriques for about 18 months, followed by a long period in bottle, Cabraia is an important red, designed for those seeking complexity, balance, and evolutionary potential. The finish is long, persistent, and complex, with fruity and spicy returns that highlight its great elegance.
