The Barolo Bussia Vigna Bofani DOCG represents one of the highest expressions of the Beni di Batasiolo winery, the result of one of the most prestigious geographical mentions of the denomination. The Nebbiolo grapes come exclusively from the historic Bofani vineyard, located in the heart of the Bussia di Monforte d’Alba, a cru famous for its extraordinary qualitative vocation. Here, the clay-limestone soils and excellent sun exposure allow for optimal maturation, which translates into wines of great structure and longevity. Vinification takes place according to traditional methods, with long maceration on the skins and subsequent aging in oak barrels for at least two years, followed by an additional 12 months in the bottle. The result is a Barolo with an elegant, deep profile capable of surprising evolution over time. Designed for collectors and those seeking an identity wine, the Vigna Bofani is a Barolo that faithfully embodies the character of the Bussia.

The bouquet is broad and layered: notes of withered rose, ripe cherry, underbrush, and fine spices emerge, with elegant hints of licorice, goudron, and tobacco. On the palate, it is austere yet harmonious, with dense and well-integrated tannins, vibrant acidity, and an exceptionally long, balsamic, and mineral finish.
