Fina's Merlot is a pure Merlot produced from grapes grown in counter-espalier cultivation, at an altitude of approximately 350 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out at the end of August, with a yield of 85 quintals per hectare. In the cellar, the alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel. The refinement took place for a short period in stainless steel and for 12 months in barrique.
MERLOT FINA: TASTING
Cantine Fina's Merlot is ruby red in color with purple reflections. The nose is dominated by dense notes of berries which combine with delicate hints of red flowers and warm hints of black pepper and dark spices. The taste is full and round, with a smooth tannic texture. The fruity and spicy finish is pleasant and persistent. At the table it goes well with mature cheeses as well as tasty first courses, roasts or grilled meats.
