Among the oldest German noble families, Princes Löwenstein have been producing wine in Franconia since the mid of the sixteenth century; in the Rheingau area since the early nineteenth century, thus being able to boast a unique wine history in Germany. The company is now managed by Stephanie, Princess of Löwenstein, which carries on the family's production philosophy, aimed at the maximum respect for wine as an expression of the terroir from which it is born.
