The Barolo DOCG Dagromis by Gaja is a wine that expresses the elegance and power of Nebbiolo, one of the noblest and most representative varieties of Piedmont. The name "Dagromis" is a tribute to the Gromis family, historic winemakers of the Langhe, whose vineyards were acquired by the Gaja family. This Barolo comes from a selection of grapes sourced from vineyards located in the municipalities of La Morra and Serralunga d'Alba, two of the most prestigious areas of the Barolo denomination. The vintage was characterized by a balanced climate, with a rainy spring followed by a warm but not excessive summer, which allowed for a slow and even ripening of the grapes. The harvest was carried out by hand to ensure the highest quality of the grapes, which are vinified in steel and then aged in oak barrels for about 12 months, followed by an additional 12 months in bottle.

It presents itself with an intense and bright garnet red color. On the nose, it offers a complex and refined bouquet, with aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by floral notes of rose, sweet spices, and hints of tobacco and leather. On the palate, it is a wine of great structure and depth, with velvety and well-integrated tannins that provide a pleasant sensation of softness. The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste of ripe fruit and spices, inviting another sip after another. The Barolo Dagromis is a wine of great elegance and complexity, perfect for pairing with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, and ideal for long aging.
