Girlan's Pinot Grigio comes from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes harvested by hand in the Girlan sub-area, on the Oltradige hills, in the province of Bolzano. The original vineyards are located on soils rich in minerals, at an altitude between 450 and 500 meters above sea level. During the white fermentation, the alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The refinement took place for a few months, always in stainless steel in contact with the fine lees.
GIRLAN PINOT GRIGIO: THE TASTING
Girlan's Pinot Grigio presents itself at the sight of an intense straw yellow color. On the nose it releases aromas of yellow pulp fruit that meet hints of white spring flowers and light citrus notes. The sip is characterized by mineral freshness and a pleasant herbaceous and fruity finish. At the table it goes particularly well with vegetarian dishes as well as seafood recipes based on white fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
