The grapes, hand-picked and transported to the winery in small crates, are carefully selected, destemmed, and gently pressed, largely keeping the berries intact during the transfer to the stainless steel tanks. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, with particular attention to preserving the aromas, extracting color, and managing tannin extraction. Racking is determined through continuous and meticulous tastings, and the wine is considered ready to begin aging in wood. Only new French oak barrels are used. Malolactic fermentation occurs in barrels and is completed in the spring following the harvest. The wine ages for 12 months in wood, followed by an additional 2 months in stainless steel before bottling. Pinot Nero IGT Umbria Montelione - Guerrini Strong and elegant. Clear aromas of red fruits stand out, particularly blackberry and raspberry, accompanied by marked tertiary notes, a result of long aging in new barrels. On the palate, the wine is balanced and intense, with soft and enveloping tannins and a persistent finish.
