Delivery and Returns
The Achelodi La Braccesca - Antinori was obtained from 100% Syrah grapes grown on clayey soils. The harvest took place starting from the second half of September. In the cellar, the must was subjected to a short pre-fermentation maceration which favored the extraction of the primary aromas of the grape. Subsequently, the alcoholic fermentation continued for 10 days at temperatures not exceeding 25°C. The refinement took place for a few months in second and third passage French oak barriques (70%) and in stainless steel (30%).
ACHELO SYRAH LA BRACCESCA: THE TASTING
The Achelo di La Braccesca has a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose it offers aromas of dark berries that meet floral hints of violet and notes of vanilla, liquorice and dark spices. The taste is soft and enveloping, supported by well-integrated tannins and a pleasant balsamic and spicy finish. At the table it goes well with mature cheeses as well as tasty ground dishes based on red meat, especially if tomato-based.
