La Poderina's Brunello di Montalcino DOCG was obtained from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown in the Castelnuovo dell'Abate area, a hamlet of Montalcino (SI). After the manual harvest, the grapes were sent to the winemaking process. The alcoholic fermentation, with maceration of the must in contact with the skins, took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-28°C. A post-fermentation maceration at a temperature of 29°C followed, at the end of which the must was transferred to oak wood where the Before bottling took place, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG de La Poderina was refined for 20 months in barriques and oak barrels.

The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG by La Poderina presents itself at the sight of a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it expresses seductive aromas of morello cherry, black cherry and small ripe berries combined with ethereal hints and notes of dark spices. The sip is elegant and harmonious, supported by a smooth tannic texture and a gentle vein of freshness combined with a fine minerality that persists in the long finish. At the table it goes well with mature cheeses as well as first and second courses based on red meat or game.
